Anna was born 1981 and was raised in the north of Sweden where she got her aesthetic eye from her artist parents.
When she turned 14, her dad built her up a dark room at home and she started to experiment and found her passion in photography.
She got a photo schoolarship at age 18 and moved to Stockholm.
There she started her photo studies at GFU, continued with photogravure at Biskops-Arnö and then photo communication at Bilder Nordic School of Photography at Berghs. During those years she also assisted different photographers such as the world famous photographer Lennart Nilsson among others.
Anna Malmberg began her own career as a photographer in Paris 2010 where she started to shoot weddings. Her interest in fashion and interior brought her to do editorials, advertising campaigns and home tours world wide. She had several exhibitions in Sweden, Italy and Taiwan.
In 2014 she moved back to Stockholm with her French fiancé and their son. There she got to know stylist Mari Stenghielm thanks to their common interest in interior decoration. Both their love for natural light, places with a historic soul, natural materials and travels made them as a perfect team. They did several campaigns and home tours together the last years and are still doing projects together.
Anna has worked with both small independent customers and large international clients, always with her personal touch that can not be missed. Her imagery is poetic and dreamy, but still direct.
In the summer of 2020 she and her family followed their dream to live in a warmer climate, near the nature and the Mediterranean sea.
They moved to an old house in a village in Languedoc in the south of France where they now lives.
